While working with Soren Rose Studio, Katharina collaborated with Soren Rose on designing the NYC Flagship Clinic and Showroom for Danish hair brand Harklinikken. The space was meticulously designed with subdued colors, soft materials, use of marble and wood to draw emphasis on a tactile experience that feels nothing like a hospital or doctor’s office. In addition to a main showroom which serves as a meeting room and an event space, smaller, more intimate private consultation rooms were also designed with a home-like interior. A keystone of the project, and a big wish from the Danish client and CEO of Harklinikken Lars Skjøth, was the use of danish design classics from Denmark.
